In honour of being into Resident Evil fever again (and procrastinating uni studies) I've picked up Village again in hopes of (finally) getting all trophies.

It's genuinely insane that we haven't gotten a new Gears of War game for almost the entire lifespan of the Series X/S'.
What happened here??
I feel like the ideal RE1 Remake would have first & third person cameras (like Requiem) AND a fixed camera style (tho realistically speaking, it won't happen).
In terms of the conflicting scenarios though, they did even worse with that in the RE2 remake so hopefully they would learn from that
whys capcom pretending theyre too good for the rocket launcher endings in resident evil
... and that the original end game of this story was gonna feature the return of Spencer in some way/shape/form, but got changed at some point midway through because they either wanted to distance themselves from Village's story or retire Spencer as a character entirely.
Hard to say for sure
... while I'm not inherently opposed to retconning villains into having a more sympathetic side to them, it felt VERY rushed in game.
- I'm willing to bet good money that all the focus on blood and "memory transfer" was meant to follow up the plot thread of Spencer learning from Miranda in Village
To name some of them:
- Grace definitely got Rey Palpatine'd at some point, I'm wagering late into development. It DEFINITELY felt like they were wanting to go all in on her being some special key but got cold feet
- The Spencer "twist" feels like a direct casualty of any/all Grace changes...
