Not everyone succeeds like this, but it always warms my heart when people can live on making indie games.

Love the art style and RPG theme. Insta wishlist:)
One thing that's easy to miss about the just-released House of Hikmah is that the Islamic Scholars are known with the same awe and reverence as superheroes in Western culture. It'd be hard to grow up without learning of the exploits of some of these characters.

I’ve added to ability to choose colors for buildings in my upcoming cozy building game, Island Architect.
You also get railings now when building terraces or balconies.

Photo of the game Bib Goes Home. A small projector on a Mechano stand is doing interactive projection mapping on the pages of a cardboard pop-up book.
Screenshot of the game Far From Noise. A Citroen 2CV is balanced precariously on the edge of a cliff. Text bubbles: "(honk honk) HELLOOO?"
A screenshot of the game Rhell. A young mage stands in front of some bookshelves and a bed, looking at a spectrral form above.
Close up photo of the installation Wobble Garden. LED rings shine in many colours, at the bases of springy conical silver doorstops.

I'll never forget meeting the team behind Vane in Tokyo and getting invited to play an early version. Like Fugl, you are controlling a bird and flying, even if in a different genre.
Today at the #GDC2026 Arm Developer Summit, alongside our partners, we took a closer look at what the future of gaming will look like.
🚀 AI-Driven
🚀 Advanced Graphics
🚀Power Efficiency
And so. Much. More. It's the future of gaming built on Arm.

Unpopular opinion, but a lot of this "doing it right" mentality is how we wind up with games all feeling the exact same.
Difficulty spikes, weird controls, ropey onboarding all of it critical to prevent games feeling like they're ground down and pumped out safe mush.

Here we go here we go here we fucking go! 💚
Perhaps what we now need is a prominent Japanese game designer saying that most western games suck.
We've heard people like Starter Packs, so we just begun putting one together for open source organizations. It could be an OSPO like us, a Foundation that supports projects and the ecosystem or accounts for OSS events.
Take a look and tell us who else should be there.

Thank you so much! It has been a while since we've last updated it, but it is coming along behind thr scenes 😀
Can we be added to the list? Our small team is making a small bird flying game called Fugl Source: Steam share.google/fNDLEoJDp37H...
Also currently they are running a series of events around sustainability. It feels progressive, as it is something rarely seen even these days.
It is the only organisation of its kind that I know of that is all about the art and craft of making games, not the business. I have never seen that before, not in the UK nor in my home country Denmark.
There are lots of venues for beginners to meet these days. As a founder of the Nordic and Global Game Jams I have created some of those. I also attend indie meetups!in my community.
But because of how I work, BAFTA provides a rare opportunity for me to meet other old farts like myself.
The access to content for voting feels unique and despite being a 'club', it is a rather large club and thus quite a few of us get to vote in craft-specific categories. Again, because of its size, it does feel more democratic than other awards.
For all there is to criticise, and I have been a very vocal critic in the past, I do think BAFTA is doing a few things right

What are some mobile games that you think make good use of the form factor, and that you'd recommend?
Preferably premium, though I'm not allergic to freemium if done in a way that respects my time (e.g. pay to unlock full game or remove ads).
