Hi 👋 I like to write fiction and poetry. My fiction often has fantasy and horror themes. My poetry has been described as "pastoral" many times. I'd love more writing friends. 💙

I also like to write Tudor fiction/non-fiction and poetry. I wrote a Shakespearean sonnet called A Day in the Life of Henry VIII I'm rather fond of. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever write something as good ever again.

As it says on the tin, my name is Cassandra (she/her). I live in Minnesota with my husband, our three children, and four cats. Aside from writing and, of course, reading, I enjoy painting, music, scrapbooking, and birding.

I have a few things in the works right now. I'm working on a short story and a novel, but I've mostly been focused on poetry. I finished my first chapbook, Bird House, and I've been trying to get it published through chapbook contests.
