If you are on Home:
- Press Win + R, type regedit, then press Enter.
- Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU
- Right-click in the right pane > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
- Name it NoAutoUpdate
- Double-click it and set the value to 1

If you are on Pro or Enterprise:
- Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, then press Enter.
- Go to: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Manage end user experience
Double-click Configure Automatic Updates.
- Select Disabled, then click Apply and OK.

I also wanna clarify I actually do like the Proton ecosystem. So far it seems really great. There are some problems with the CEO but the product is good enough (for now) that I'm willing to overlook it.
I urge everyone to draw your own conclusions and do your own research.

I am not saying they shouldn't be allowed to market its status, but they should either have the source ready and published as the product goes live, or should make it clear from the get-go it will soon be open source.

People with impaired eyesight or dyslexia may find it extremely difficult to read them, and may even be totally unable to do so. Aesthetic fonts, in fact, aren't fonts at all & therefore screen readers can’t read them. This represents a real accessibility problem
