Let Terrence Malick make a Shmi Skywalker origin epic.

Like, why, in the last year, did Roger Stone of all people put out a book on the JFK assassination? Because "don't trust the official narrative" is the load-bearing stone of MAGA.

Okay, the negative effect of the movie on society is not, "It made people doubt Oswald was the shooter." The negative effect is and was, "It made people hostile to authority, therefore making them susceptible to nonsense and bad actors."

Exactly, and it wasn't simply "people saw JFK and became conspiracy thinkers," it was that the movie was super-influential and led to decades of other movies and shows that portrayed and normalized conspiracy thinking (X-Files is basically JFK + Silence of the Lambs + Unsolved Mysteries).

Make a Saw Gerrera cartoon, by letting Forest Whitaker improvise monologues and then storyboard around that.

I'm sorry but I don't really care about the Darth Maul cartoon.

It popularized simplistic, reactionary "don't trust what THEY tell you" thinking, which was once confined to the brains conspiracy cranks but is now the backbone of a destructive political party.

America has always been full of armed weirdos.

A conspiracy to assassinate the president happened once (Booth), a weirdo trying to assassinate the president has happened many, many times in history.

There was no JFK murder conspiracy. A weird guy shot him, then another weirdo shot that weird guy.

Comic books and strips were lucrative enough for everyone to be subcontracting ghost artists.

Katie Porter is a carpetbagger who I'd bet has never even visited Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park to see the actual spot where James W. Marshall discovered gold in 1848.

And the insane Sheriff Republican is from Utah, which is even worse.

The top-polling Republican is from *LONDON.*

Becerra is the only major candidate--Democrat or Republican--who was actually born and raised in California.

Also, Newsom's background in hedge funds is way closer to Steyer's. It sounds like you don't know anything about the actual candidates and are making dumb generalizations.

Has Tom Steyer fought in court on the side of women who miscarried and were then charged with a crime?

Steyer is not the *worst* candidate ever (he's pro-green energy) but he's a venture capitalist and his government experience is consultant/advisory-level stuff.

Californian since birth, worked in state government since the '80s. Won against the first Trump admin in the Supreme Court. Pro-abortion rights.

Because Becerra should be the governor of California.
