They should film it all inside a leisure centre sports hall. No issue then.

But he's not a stupid man. He'll be well aware of that, the same as the rest of us. If there's a subtle point being made, I'd have to assume it's with his blessing (which doesn't make him look any better - worse, if anything cos either own up to the error or don't).

I'm not watching but is it like when the queen wore something with stars on and online heads were all, "She loves europe!"

Absolutely not.

"fuckin'" It's a subtle difference which the non-dealmakers among us just don't understand.

Just because someone sends you a fucking opinion, it doesn't mean you have to publish it.

Car's in the garage today for a new clutch master cylinder, an offside CV gaiter, new brake discs and pads, a service and a new MOT after it failed the last one, so I'm skipping straight to using the double indemnity clause on our insurance if I'm killed on a work trip.

It is spectacularly bad. A mid-life crisis with a music library soundtrack. As I remember it, there's this crazy scene towards the end where the guru fella basically brokers my mate and his missus splitting up. Entirely unrelated: he followed it up with a documentary about porn stars.

I have a mate who has made a couple of pretty awful documentaries, and he is constantly winning awards at the Croydon Road International Festival of Telly and Car Detailing. Christ knows what it's cost him.

Ah, I see. Obviously WW2 informed their upbringing (how could it not) and Lennon was no stranger to a dig at the German audience, but I don't think they had the same them vs us feelings as their parents' generation or even much of their own. The moptop itself came care of a German in Paris.

Oh, it was fine. A mere six months of signing on later, I was a edit house runner earning nine grand a year!

It was the year it caught up with us and we were all made redundant.

Erin was a camera assistant on it. It might even have been the job she stepped up and did some focus pulling. Meanwhile, I was on year eight of working in a cinema.

That show paid our rent for the period of its filming.

I'm being a dullard myself but are you saying they aren't? Germany was the making of The Beatles.

Gah! Living and working, it's nearer to thirty years! Christ!

I was there or thereabouts for twenty years. Like everywhere else, it changed and became a little less distinct over that time, but I'm still hugely affectionate towards it (and the park is a miracle).

I used to live in a quiet bit of Greenwich, but at one point in the early 90s, if you'd stood in our front room, you'd have been two minutes in one direction from Malcolm Hardee's house and two minutes in the other from Vic & Bob writing Big Night Out at Jools Holland's place. Comedy leyline stuff.

The best bit of all of it was being young and not wondering if that pain in your hip was just a soft launch of death.

I used to enjoy Oasis, then I stopped enjoying them. When they announced the tour, I wasn't bothered because I don't enjoy them any more. People that enjoyed them then and now bought tickets. People that never enjoyed them didn't buy tickets, but talk about them online a lot.
