It was very strange. But it was like HR was on a time crunch to put in a new opening and needed to know if they were hiring for the role I'm being promoted to or for the role I'd be leaving. Since apparently my boss had told them he wanted to promote me anyway just didn't confirm with me.

Today has been an interesting one. My manager messaged me out of the blue, telling me I had a few hours to decide if i wanted to accept a promotion at work. Now I just have to hope that taking it won't cause me to lose too much of my work/life balance to keep making the things I love to make. 😵‍💫

Glad I put the "ish". My ducttape and prayers setup of Bluetooth devices and scripts isn't working so I'm troubleshooting that before we start.
