Yes I had a ~36 hour travel day but that didn’t stop me from hauling groceries up the hill to make some needed half sour pickles (also hi Cork friends, I’m baaaack!)

Heading out of town = leaving myself gifts for when I’m back. Fresh sheets, herbal bath salts, a bottle of wine, and a lil’ love note reminding me I left a favorite meal in the freezer.

Yes same, I’ve noticed I second guess and either don’t post or spend enough time editing that it takes the fun out of sharing the thing in the first place. On Twitter I had such robust, interesting connections, and while I still do…it just feels like the ways we interact have shifted considerably
Sometimes I also encounter folks who think that’s the only classification system which, no shade, we all have the knowledge we have and most people don’t know about cataloging, but it’s still bananas how such a problematic person is still so prevalent in the public imagination!
I am continuously amazed how few people know of the horrors of Melvil Dewey!
