3d celeste is a very interesting design challenge, it makes sense they went "open" for their jam game, especially in the time frame.
The bunnies sit around the computer, gaming. DAFFODIL: I don't like what it's done to us but I love this game. Why is it controversial? ASTER: Polytheism, perhaps. Because it places wit on a higher shelf of esteem than brute strength. Maybe it's opacity. GRASSY: It's because of a part I think is coming up soon. IN-GAME LETTER: Solver, As you’ve turned over my riddles, manipulated my puzzles, and caressed my terrain, you have given me great pleasure. Your footfalls have illuminated my nerves with euphoric currents. Your thoughts echo inside my being, ricocheting off my inner surfaces. I have taken as lovers gods, planets, and ideas. For narrative satisfaction Hypnospace Outlaw, 10 Dead Doves and Disco Elysium are really up there, but if I have to name a personal all-time classic... It's gotta be Peekaboo. No narrative has come to a more satisfiying conclusion than seeing behind thos hands... 👐
