Biden said fuck your polls, fuck backstabbing Democratic lawmakers, fuck wealthy donors, and fuck the mainstream media. He is not stepping aside. Let's go!
I don't think that so I agree with you that anyone who does is wrong
It's an especially important vote since it will be useful to get would-be presidential contenders on the record before 2028. And that's applicable to both parties. Nobody should support a blank check to Israel.
It does but I think it definitely should happen more often and more aggressively. FWIW this is why I think everyone should use the tool above to call their senators even if it's a Republican. The goal is to get everyone on the record on Wednesday as to whether they oppose more weapons to Israel.
He's talking about the WPRs; which are good for what it's worth! I'm glad he supports those.
Schumer's post isn't about these resolutions I'm taking about and he's been opposed to these JRDs the last two times.
And yes do this even if you're senators are Republicans.
oh yea 100%
You can also call them by texting NOWEAPONS to 877-829-8228
wdym
Call them! Email them! And yes protest :).
A lot of people complaining about how Democrats aren't in the majority, and that's all true enough, but there are actually going to be two votes on Wednesday to block weapons and you should in fact press Schumer and Gillibrand (and everyone else) to vote for them.
a lot of “israel, whom i do not support..” posting in the comments
nah u good
Not at this time no, hence the question. Realized I wasn't clear haha my bad
true true
would it matter to say that i am making less than 100k, like it's a good salary but not anything crazy
interesting so it makes sense to actually lower my taxable income more so than to just shovel post-tax dollars into the roth?
Fair, I learned about Bogleheads recently and it seems to make sense. Was told that I could do ethical investments in my 401k which is cool
Yeah through a stroke of luck I maxed out my Roth for 2025 at the last minute and now I'm considering what to do for 2026, since there's no 401k match I assume it's Roth then 401k
And assuming it's do Roth IRA first, after maxing it out for 2026 I'd do 401K?
Seems like a no brainer to do 401k first if there's a match but just wondering what to do if there isn't.
Quick question that the older heads on here might be able to answer for me since I'm adjusting to a new financial situation for myself. In a situation where I'm able to comfortably contribute a decent ish amount to retirement, should I run up Roth IRA or 401K first if there's no match on the latter?
he 100% knew lol
lol
i suppose it's "singling out" in that they are the largest single organization doing it yeah
Nah he's running
