A sad but inevitable consequence of the housing parties: families priced out of London meaning schools having to close or merge.
The large Tesco superstore and car park in Hackney town centre could be demolished and replaced with housing and a replacement superstore under plans being considered by the council.
Exactly the sort of thing that should happen to every superstore in London.
A major new report from @centreforcities.bsky.social calls for the Government to take much bolder action on reform to be sure to achieve its goal of 1.5 million new homes this Parliament!
