holy fuck i guess i better start working on some artfight refs for some of my lesser talked about OCs 😓

i'm still working on this one btw it's just taking 80000 years because i've been busy with my real world responsibilities 🤬

the way the impostor syndrome hits me like a train when this happens (which is all the time because all my artist friends are a 10)

THATS ACTUALLY SO SWEET THANK YOU! drawing hands can be so frustrating lowkey. my best advice is to do hand studies and practice drawing them doing lots of different things from different angles! plus making them ur OCs hands makes it 10x more interesting. can't wait to see what ur working on fs!!

so.... yeah. that's where i'm at. we'll see where the wind takes me after Book I releases on May 15th. for now, i'm crunching SOOO hard to wrap this book up!!

not to say i'd completely give up on Heart Hollow. it's my dream to complete all 3 books and perhaps spin-off books if given the opportunity. i am determined to finish the story. it has a long way to go, and it's come so far!! i cannot give up now.

but also.... i REALLY love Heart Hollow!!! it's my baby. and frankly i don't see myself as obsessed with any other project of mine. but.... it would be nice to explore other universes for a bit. i have so many stories i want to tell.

it'd be nice to give myself a break from HH, but i'd lowkey feel bad to put it on hiatus immediately after releasing Book I.... then again, i've been working on HH since 2021, and after 5 years, i kinda feel like i need a brain break.

i miss comic creation a lot. it's also easier to gain an audience thru comics from my experience. i LOVE story-telling thru art!! and the project i'm playing with is very visual heavy. i think it would be a fun exercise to expand my portfolio.

i've been debating if i want to do a smaller one-off project between Heart Hollow Book I and Book II.

i'm such a perfectionist it's nuts.... not to diss anybody but i read some books and im like "i would have rephrased this" or "the formatting is weird here" or "this scene should have been added upon" etc etc etc. i stg i could edit my book until the day i die but the show must go on
