This happened at work once and you couldn’t bring it up without the entire building collapsing in laughter. It was just so noisy.

It recently suggested I check out a streetwear collection that consisted of what I would describe as 2010s Fashion Blogger J Crew plaid shirts.
I love be shown items that are to my taste and the extremely wrong size! Like, it does a much better job at identifying what I like and have been looking for… it can’t be that hard to make the size filter work again?
I feel so bad for the sellers, this has to be destroying their income.
It’s *so bad*. I’m almost six feet tall, why is it showing me size five shoes?
My SVP got home from a trip to India and immediately changed their attendance policy to basically Traffic Doesn’t Count. It sounded horrific.
It also happened to a college friend! I had a lot of questions for the adults who walked past sleeping teenagers and didn’t stop to say “hey, do you need to be on this flight?”
My sister once missed a flight because she was asleep right next to the boarding door and no one woke her up.
I was an acolyte and then a chalice bearer growing up and I had a kid do something similar and the very young priest and I had to excuse ourselves for a
moment because I just lost it.
I wonder if it just something used when you feel out of power?
I mean, this feels like some Evangelical pastor phrasing. There was a church that held services in a public park near me in 2019 that would have said something very similar. It was the sort of church where they made very small children witness to random strangers.
Also, Mason County and the peninsula are right fucking there and rural Thurston wasn’t much better. I’m assuming it’s worse now, we had to move in early 2016.
Seems to be German.
I spent a decade in Thurston County and her whole deal makes a ton of sense to me. People think the PNW is like Massachusetts but actually the rural areas are ruby red a lot of the time.
It’s the crossover between the people in the OneBag and UltraLight hiking subreddits.
Yeah, it goes with how you stay safe in a Target parking lot because you might get trafficked. Playing at being a victim is a whole genre for a lot of the mom influencers who use their kids in their content.
My dad spent his early childhood with the toilet down the hall. Like shared amongst the entire floor of flats. I don’t think they had the coin operated electricity until he was older, though.
It is Thursday the 16th and 5:03 pm in PDT.
Yeah, I checked all the stores in my town that have prices online. Most were 5.99/lb for at least one type of ground beef. Target and Stop and Shop were more, which tracks, and I assume Hmart would be, too.
For example, Massachusetts is $15.00 (I doubt many places can hire below $16.00) and you can get ground beef for less than $6.00/lb assuming you don’t only want to shop at nicest and most expensive grocery stores.
Actual lol. Were you thinking of actual car seats and being like “even civics fit three in the back???”
We’re not on top of each other as two adults in a one bed, 650ish square feet apartment. If we put the bikes on the walls, we’d have room for a sitting area in the bedroom!
My dad would have been 16 in 1970 and was born just as rationing finally ended. They had a shared bathroom for their floor down the hall. London was still really bombed out. Very different from post war America.
My IG has been showing me a lot of people making weird things into instruments. My favorite is this person who plays some stringed patio chairs.
I had a coworker who thought she was pregnant and she was more upset about the third car seat than the potential unplanned pregnancy. It’s such a pain point for people.
It’s a fucking nightmare (or impossible? I’m not a parent) to get three car seats in most cars.
My friend at the time had a bunch of family in rural North Dakota. She said it was a documentary and her grandparents owned like half of the furniture and cars you saw in the movie.
It’s actually a lot of work to fire people at most companies I’ve worked at! You need documentation and coaching and all sorts of proof before HR will approve.
My poor parents were so thrilled that I read the newspaper until they had to discuss everything I read in the newspaper, lmao.
I only had, like, half my insurance cap left because I was a premature baby. I spent a lot of time worrying about childhood cancer as an elementary schooler because I knew treatment would blow through the rest of it.
