Our beer with Bare Bottle is out (Kayakers Cove, 5% pale ale) and available everywhere bare bottle is and it’s great, smells awesome, and look at this idiot on the label:

I don't think so, no.

I like swSTR because it stabilizes before K% so a little bit of an early peak into what K% should be. Look at Elder swSTR vs K as an example.

Super pumped to share our appearance on Rates and Barrels! We shared some sleeper prospects with @enosarris.bsky.social and Derek VanRiper, talked about Noah Schultz's call-up and fantasy impact, and correctly spelled Jadher Areinamo's name on air.

20% Z-O swing is like bottom of the league yeah I think the K/BB will be so bad that he risks losing job.

I don't like it from a development standpoint even if it's interesting from an R&D/analytics standpoint. players aren't robots.

yeah I think there's a loss of command. Location+ says so, BB rate etc. But I just don't see the upside nay more really. I know Stuff+ says he has a good fastball/curveball combo but for some reason I don't trust it.

they don't seem to like to give pitchers years.

Maybe Topa in Minny, or maybe nobody. I think Soto will take the Pitt job. I kinda like Winn in SF.

swinging strike rate for pitchers stabilizes before called strike rate and therefore also K%, so it's a good place to look for discrepancies between K and swSTR, believe the swSTR.

I doubt you consider Cam Schlittler a pop-up, so setting sights lower... I suppose Taj Bradley with league-average control all year could really pop, Jose Soriano with good batted ball luck and more whiffs could too.

sinker more conventional in movement, cutter and sweeper merging in shape, velocity down, everything's wrong.

I think Stuff+ is amazingly effective with relievers. I think Baker is the dude with that metric and usage, then I like ... Soto second, Ashcraft third? You do have to look at usage, and Soto a little more likely to end up closing imo. Erceg's stuff has been down since injury.

I think it's pretty weird. The average pitcher loses less than a tick over the course of their outings. Sheehan's been used in different ways, maybe he just needs to figure out how to pace himself for 140 innings.. I'm dropping him pretty significantly in rankings next week.

He had trouble retaining his velocity in starts and Rocker really broadened his arsenal, but I think I'd rather see more of Latz at some point in the rotation. I think he gets another shot.

Missed my q and a today. Just stupid traveling, not following normal schedule stuff. My bad. If you had a question you wanted answered, I can answer here or in the discord.

Took in a Randy Vasquez gem, saw Brandon, did the fourth inning meetup, had Puesto tacos and a .394 ale, did the San Diego thing.
