Work continues. I’m doing things like writing docs and testing tools. Haven’t touched a particle system since since
I got here. I’m turning into an art manager.

A recent taxi driver asked me if I was Taliban. His reasoning was that I had a Taliban beard and I looked very Taliban. I assured him I was not. That was a first.

Things are going well atm. I got enough money to pay off my medical bills from last year. I bought some sushi. I have a fresh coffee and a build thats building. I might get a new bed this weekend. The cats are sleeping. I've talked to friends recently. I've talked to family recently.

I might buy a bed. I havent had a real bed 10-12 years.

Great news for Freelancers working in the State of CA! The Freelance Worker Protection Act went into effect January 1, 2025. This law requires freelancers to be paid 30 days after completion of work for any job over $250, & gives them the ability to take legal action against clients who don’t pay.

Yeah, without going into the details, that's very much the motivation as the current team isn't big enough to finish off a pizza.

Today the job said you are no longer a VFX artist. They have said I'm now a Tech artist.

I got it as a part of the Warlord of the Karui Supporter Pack that you buy directly from GGG. It comes with the hoodie. It's a little spendy of course, but it is a top notch hoodie in quality. it's heavy and with a great zipper.

The day job is taking all my energy atm. I haven't been able to even consider working on a side project. It's been disappointing to me. I am just trying to manage myself atm. I'm ok. I'm just very full.

My Path of Exile hoodie has gotten me more random call outs from strangers than any other bit of game merch i've owned.
