The beginning of May marks the start of your Representation Executive Council (REC)'s year-long terms! Let's take a quick look at the new and returning faces who will be your front line for all things student advocacy this year.
Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the 2024-25 REC team and thanking them for their service to MRU students, SAMRU, and the broader campus community.
Over the past year, this REC team worked together to ensure student voices were heard across the university and beyond—whether influencing academic policy, strengthening external advocacy, or advancing student support and inclusion on campus.
As the 2024-25 term for the Representation Executive Council (REC) concludes, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the outgoing team members—Fiona Chetty, Genri Liclican and Anisa Tilston—for their collective efforts in advocating for students and improving the campus experience.
