This is such a deep collection of songs. I love how she takes you on a journey in each song and plays with her analogies in ways that feel new or unique. It’s shockingly dark and unsettling but the honesty also offers a form of hope imo.
They are so used to curating their own entertainment, it’s amazing to see them find a sort of relief or pleasure in having someone else do it for them.
Also interesting to see how they naturally connected with the communal aspect that other people are watching the same show at the exact time.
So i definitely listened to this new ep while pmsing at the beach on an overcast almost rainy morning and tbh it matched the vibe perfectly. Or it at least matched my vibe. 😅🫣

It started a little slow but really picked up by the end of episode 2. I love this cast so much. I’m not a horror person so I was sort of hesitant when it first came out but I’ve gotten more comfortable with mild horror lately so I figured I’d try again. I like it a lot!
Well we are on Hawaii time atm and at a Disney resort where they seem to have 24/7 content on the various Disney owned Chanels lol so I think it was the zombies/descendants crossover live concert and big city greens. 😅

It’s funny how hot dogs work in all settings. Camping, beach trips, quick weeknights, drawn out weekend cookouts with guests. A top tier dinner option all around, always easy to complement with carbs/veggies/fruit options.

We also brought Mac and cheese in our checked luggage lol but I bought a ton of Maui/hawaiian bbq chips with our local grocery order and you can probably guess what won out as the side for tonight.🙌

I really don't like this 25A medicalization talk. "Fail a mental fitness test"? That frames this as if it's some unproven possibility of a particular mental illness, which is totally irrelevant. I don't care what boxes he checks in the DSM-5. That he's unfit for office is not a medical diagnosis.
That sounds amazing! I don’t know about getting up in elevation on this trip but our resort has a guided event with an astronomer we were just debating. This star gazing is from a point that sticks out on the coast though.
The variety definitely makes it fun! Even my less adventurous seafood eaters enjoyed the edamame and dipping their dishes into the soy sauce.
Our kids all get different hang ups with food but we try to make it a habit to introduce new or less typical things to help them branch out and get used to change.
I could probably introduce more on a weekly basis but it’s also rewarding to see them adapt on their own terms.
My youngest is actually our most eager sushi eater but that was true before tonight thanks to Sprouts’ California rolls.
Took all of our kids to a sushi place for the first time ever as a family and survived without complaints (even though they were out of teriyaki chicken).
The fact that the dishes come out at random intervals on little train trays absolutely helped.
It’s technically afternoon now I guess lol we didn’t get in until like 3:30 am our local time (close to midnight here) so I’ve now entered a total time warp. It’s all relative. 😂
