Yesterday’s hike was brilliant. We’re heading to the Cotswolds next weekend and needed to test our gear. The day started rainy, with a little wind, and ended sunny. Conditions couldn’t have been better, and the area we hiked through was gorgeous 🌞

Mehrstöckiges Steinhaus mit roten Fensterläden an einem steilen Hang. Vor dem Haus stehen eine Palme, ein kleiner Balkon mit zwei Tontöpfen und Wäsche an einer Leine. Im Vordergrund verläuft ein rostiges Metallgeländer mit einem runden Schild und dem Wort «Privato». Dahinter öffnet sich der Blick auf ein dicht bewaldetes, grünes Bergtal unter grossen dunklen Wolken und blauen Himmelslücken.

Steingebäude mit grauem Steinplattendach und kleinem Kaminaufsatz in einem Garten. In der Mitte steht ein fast kahler Baum, links davor blühen gelbe Narzissen, daneben wachsen Gras und Efeu. Bénédiction sur l'intercité Toulouse-Marseille. Il est certes tellement lent par endroit qu'on s'est littéralement fait doubler par un frelon(!), mais ça m'a permis au niveau de l'étang de Thau d'admirer une spatule (l'oiseau) sous tous ses angles pour le première fois de ma vie

Petit et Grand Area. L'enneigement continu débute vers 2200 m

Les crocus sortent à 2000 m d'altitude en versant sud ce 15 avril, ce qui est bien précoce. De fait, après une deuxième moitié d'hiver météo très enneigée, le temps plutôt sec et chaud depuis fin février a mis une claque à l'enneigement, désormais bien déficitaire dans ces orientations.
