Enjoy the coziness ☺️

Indeed, I have no choice but to say pasta la vista.
Dropped a tub while cleaning and now I have a pasta disaster 😭
You know what’s good? Sweetcorn. It doesn’t try too hard but it’s no slouch either. A good hand, it pitches in with any meal it’s part of. It is top tier vegetation.
You can't go wrong with sweetcorn, it's still one of my go-to vegetables.
Me: Well after nearly two weeks it looks like my cold is starting to shift, this is the liveliest I've felt in a while. It looks like my body is finally giving me a break from feeling run down and not wanting to move.
My uterus:
I picked this game up the other day, it looks so cozy. Might have to start playing after I come back from shopping.
My first instinct is to joke "this is how the robot uprising starts" but at this stage it doesn't even feel like a joke, it just feels inevitable.

This was an interesting demo, quite a cool premise of exploring a game just before it gets shut down and discovering secrets hidden in there, especially because the half an hour you're given to explore is in real time so it is possible not to see everything.

The Order Point demo doesn't really give enough time for the horror to sink enough but the sheer amount of options for what you can do definitely makes it fun, especially with the achievements. Very curious to see how that gets expanded in the full game.

Might be my favourite demo so far, I was really getting into driving around the forest to reach each cameras and the idea of having optional things you can do definitely adds a bit more substance. Plus I like how the demo is a prologue to the main game.

Another good demo with Safe House. Simple but compelling survival gameplay as you try to manage your resources, it is quite easy to get stuck in a bad loop but there's also something weirdly soothing about the quiet atmosphere. Moral choices are a nice touch.

Ooooooh nope, no that is right in the uncanny valley.
Can't robotics companies let their robots look like robots? Every time I see one of these attempts to make them realistic they just look creepy, but the actual robotic looking ones are always so cute. Way more endearing than this nightmare fuel.
Ok things are improving, the Retail Hell demo was a great deal of fun! Genuinely nerve-wracking as you can run out of stock and customers will just leave if you don't help them quick enough, plus the monster designs are great. Definitely wishlisting this one.

Spiders usually appear in that period between Summer and Actual Autumn. Sometimes a bit in Winter.
Basically they just turn up whenever they feel like it.
This is the demo. Simple graphics but looks fine and the mechanics work fine, I like work simulator horror so this could be a cool game but I could not progress with that awful camera. Happy to give it another chance once the camera gets fixed.

Today is cursed.
First demo I tried is unplayable because the camera kept sliding downward. Restarted 3 times and tried both controller and mouse controls but every time the same thing happened. Made me feel nauseous and made selecting anything a nightmare. Fingers crossed the next one is better.
Lunch first though, and as I have no idea how quickly someone else will respond I'm going to go through some horror game demos I have installed on steam.
Welp I have officially spent half my day waiting around with no contact whatsoever despite me reaching out twice and my messages showing as read. Going to reach out to a few other plumbers who showed interest in the job previously and treat today as a no show.
Still nothing.
Second update request sent.
I'm trying to be understanding, we're all human and sometimes things come up that get in the way of our plans, but would a quick "sorry I can't make it" or "sorry I'll be late" be so hard to send? It doesn't make them look very reliable.
The worst kind for me, because I am one of those people who cannot do anything if they're waiting for something. The hours I have been awake that could have been used to write or read or bake of clean or sew or game or ANYTHING REMOTELY PRODUCTIVE/ENGAGING have been spent just... waiting.
They said between 9am and 10am.
Sent a text half an hour ago to check if they were running late or need to cancel and had no response.
I swear every time I hear a car outside my whole body just jerks to attention to go look out the window.
Got a leak in my airing cupboard so having a plumber out today to see what the issue is.
Trying and failing to do anything other than looking out the window to see if they've arrived yet, I am terrible at waiting.
Full disclosure I bought this because it was made by Ice-Pick Lodge, I'd already watched Markiplier's play through so I knew the story already. It could still be fun to go through it myself.
I have wanted to play this for ages and keep installing it but for some reason I've just never been in the mood to start it, don't know why.
