I am very concerned. My worry is, Emery seems too naive to go against the methodical principles he has us adhering to. If nothing changes, it could turn fast, and that would be extremely sad.

We’ve had a bad start to the season, Everton the opposite, plus the new stadium vibe is carrying an extra bit of momentum for them.

See i think the fluidity of how Diaby and Watkins would drop and stretch worked nicely. Diaby helped give Bailey room on the right.

Jackson - I do like. He’s been wasteful at Chelsea, but he would fit by Ollie nicely like Diaby. Financially not sure how it works. Probably smarter options.

100%. It’s a tough market for most, so i think we’re handling it calmly and well.

This summer has been successful for #avfc so far, imo.

There’s a lot to be said about a settled squad, and we have kept our spine in tact despite missing out on UCL football. In fact, we’ve protected the value of some more.
