It's partly from how the contours intersect in higher-dim (e.g. ACT prefers slightly higher obh2), and also that P-ACT doesn't use all the Planck data, to avoid double counting modes. We'll look into some plots to illustrate. Congratulations on the beautiful new DESI results!
