Key take aways:
• TPT protects families by treating TB infection before it becomes disease.
• Shorter options exist, including 3HP (once a week for 3 months).
Raising awareness and support for TPT is key to protecting our communities. #posttb #PostTBCare #EndTB
On 28 Nov we held a TB Preventive Therapy (TPT) workshop with our Post-TB group. We covered what TPT is, new national guidelines, available regimens and the real challenges people face starting or completing treatment.
As this phase comes to an end, we want to thank our Champions for their dedication — bringing TB education and testing into communities and working with facilities to strengthen person-centred care.
The impact continues, and we look forward to working together again. #EndTB
