inti creates really thinking they can sell these two in a bundle as if they had anything in common besides both being abject failures 🥱
Native resolution, a perfectly round sphere
x4 Resolution, pointy edges
The video only talks about post-processing effects breaking when upressed but it overlooks to mention that models themselves don't actually benefit from being rendered at higher resolutions as it reveals their lack of detail
same energy
wayforward has historically been a quite mid developer masquerading as "indie" so people temper their expectations on what are really just very low-budget games (much like inti creates)
I think they didn't appreciate enough how much of it was held together by virt's amazing music (unlike yatch club)

Cave Story for PC major update now available; adds two-player mode, mod support, enhanced visuals, and more
Nicalis has released a major update for the PC (Steam) version of Cave Story, which adds a two-player mode, mod support, enhanced visuals, and more.
The biggest lie Cave Story tell themselves is that Nicalis stole the game from Pixel (they didn't, he voluntarily gave them the rights) and if that they want to support him they should be playing the original freeware version instead (even though he actually get royalties from Cave Story+ sales) 🥱
