if you made art this year, you did well. a sketch, even if it was scrapped ; a poem, even if it was deleted — mattered. you put thought to paper, you engaged with the creative alchemy of turning feeling to something tangible. doesn't matter if you weren't productive "enough." or good "enough."
YIPPEEE
I should do it too tbh
Thanks! Subscribed to it :)
Thanks so much! I took it at Bukit Bintang, Malaysia
Oh? No I don’t, what’s that?
HAHA nah I get you, there’s so much AI everywhere nowadays😭
Kinda why I came to bluesky actually, I heard from friends it’s a bit more artist friendly :)
Thanks so much! I’m studying animation and 3D, so I’ll be posting those too :)
Ah right, I should’ve. My bad I’m kinda new to this and never posted a photo before😅
I’ll take note if I post anything else in the future :D
Bukit Bintang in Malaysia :)
Haha yeah, the cameras phones have become really impressive over the years.
I remember my photography lecturer said the best camera is the one you have on you, and expensive fancy camera equipment is just a luxury and you can get away with simpler cheaper things too. I quite respect that lect :)
Oooh, I took it with a Nikon D5600 and edited with Lightroom, I’m still a bit of a beginner when it comes to photography but I did have that subject in my college.
I didn’t really want to increase the brightness too high to avoid overexposing the sky and I also wanted to give it some mood haha
It shows the dusty pink central parts of this well-known stellar cradle, revealing extraordinary details in this cosmic landscape of clouds of gas, dust and newborn stars. The colorful gas and darkened dust of the Omega Nebula are the raw materials for the creation of the next generation of stars. In this particular area of the nebula, the newest stars on the scene—dazzlingly bright and shimmering bluish-white—illuminate the entire ensemble. The nebula's smoky-looking dust ribbons are silhouetted against a background of incandescent gas. The dominant reddish colors, which spread over this part in the form of a cloud, arise from hydrogen in the form of gas, which shines under the influence of the intense rays of ultraviolet light emanating from the hot young stars.

IM OBSESSED WITH MASS EFFECT
Currently like 17 hours into ME1 and only on my second core world, I love the lore of this game so much
Might draw my best bros Wrex and Garrus later
Did a drawing with some markers at work yesterday
It was very fun I haven't made art with markers since I was like 10

For me it’s the fact that Obi-wan’s home planet of Stewjon is named after Jon Stewart, the interviewer who asked that question. It’s so funny to me that so much of Star Wars lore is just George Lucas being “eh sure why not”
Just thought I’d share my render for my finals for this semester.
Its a Lamy Safari, tried to mimic the Violet Blackberry colours
