Mario fever! Good Luck was worth a watch, and it's out on streaming now so not sure if still in cinemas

That time of year around here where politicians & party representatives come knocking on your door, feel it's OK to ask personal information, promise sunshine and rainbows with their party, and then poof they're gone. They're like a bad friend; only contacting you when they want something off of you
And some of you are like "It didn't come out nearly 20 years ago", yes it did! Accept it and feel old this Monday morning
Watched Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die & enjoyed it, though my immersion was completely broken when in a teenagers room they had a Huggy Wuggy doll but then also a Portal poster. That teenager doesn't exist! Show me the venn diagram of where teen mascot horror & a nearly 20 year old puzzle game meet
Big family birthday today which was good, had a nice meal out and then round a family's for board games and Jackbox. But I'm not drinking so was one of the drivers. Beer pong, ring of fire, and now karaoke have started and I bailed ๐. Not my thing, especially sober. 8 hours of socialising is plenty
Had a Cadbury's cream egg earlier after not having one for years, and I forgot how sweet and sugary they are, wow. No wonder kids are loud and wild around Easter. I was twitching in my chair with the sugar, and I'm a big guy
Went to our local village shops on break and so many people were out and about, sat outside cafes, in the beer gardens. All dressed in light summer gear, and there's me in black trackies and a black hoodie. I really need more summer gear but I like black clothes and hoodies ๐
Yeah in that room I paused the game and had to Google what the hell was going in there. Claustrophobic rooms with monsters = ๐, big ass room with a noise = shitting everywhere
Finished! Good remake. I prefer the story beats, especially the ending (the original is worth watching if only played this), & how James is in the original more, but I liked overall what they did in the remake. I could see myself playing both again for similar but different experiences & that's good
Sunny and bright bank holiday. Perfect time to shut the curtains and continue Silent Hill 2! Near the end now. But I have 40 healing items and plenty of ammo so I'm just casually strolling to the finish line it feels ๐
Feeling itchy, eyes stingy, nose drippy. Hay-fever is officially here!
Happy Easter to those that partake! No big family events this year, just me and my wife. It's quite nice. Went for a walk, I made slow cooker pulled pork, cheesy mash, honey glazed carrots, then we played Quacks of Quedlinburg for the 1st time (very fun game) and now to zone out with eggs of choc!
Watched Aladdin and I forgot that Jafar calls Jasmine "pussycat" towards the end. I nearly threw up my chocolate egg!
Upto date with Invincible and oof it was tough not to squirm at the end. Read the comics years ago but sound really adds another layer
Oh it's April 1st tomorrow. Right I'll see you all on April 2nd. I can't be arsed this year, have fun! ๐
Oh wait the clocks went forward? I wondered why I felt more tired when I got up
At what age do I start liking Twiglets? Do I need to fill out an application form to begin the process? Because at 35, I still pass them at the buffets, and as far as I'm aware I'm British
I was too detached from the systems so I decided to start fresh on Monster Hunter Rise. Got my dapper squad ready. Meet Jambalaya and Catbonara!
How about we move forward with...nothing. Just the majesty that already is
I am so overwhelmed already!! ๐ Completely forgot the systems. I've got cats pestering me to go to some research place, an inventory of stuff I no longer know how to use, notifications popping up that so and so has returned
Fancied a bit of light co-op monster killing today so I figured I'd try Iceborne. I stopped playing Monster Hunter World just around Iceborne's release so quite a few years now. But there's my dapper cat pal waiting! Not sure if there's many online players but interested in seeing the DLC
The time of the rampant backlog buyers is now!! We thought we were weak for buying all those games we wouldn't get round to for years. But we're laughing now, while looking at our full shelves of shrink-wrapped cases gleaming in the sunlight
They're having a laugh with the new Playstation prices. I'm not even looking to buy, I'm just pissed things aren't getting cheaper over time, you know like how things SHOULD be
Board game setup of Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon. Tutorial mission with Beor
Started playing Tainted Grail the board game, had it ages but thought I'd learn the rules this weekend. My word, is my brain tired from trying to understand each of the systems. It's a neat game, with a book you use alongside it for choices & scenarios. But the combat system makes my head hurt a bit
Woke up to another liar outed and oh shit it's actually someone I follow this time! Don't know all the details but I just don't get being deceitful on here to a bunch of randoms. I can understand the money schemes but I don't recall seeing any donation posts from them. Just habitual lying I guess
There's no official rule book on the table, no phones allowed, and a cash prize for the winner. Just Monopoly and diplomacy. Also security at the ready
A TV show where they take 4 random people and sit them down for a game of Monopoly. Nobody in life knows the official Monopoly rules, it's just family rules we inherit. See how long it takes before the contestants kick off and accusations of cheating are thrown around
You know you've got good biscuits when you've dunked a few in your brew and half your drink is already gone, without you taking a sip
I have heard so many lawnmowers today! My nose is already twitching with the light touch of impending hay fever
