If one has only had commercial blueberries I can see this. Commercial blueberries are not even in the same category as wild Maine blueberries. I will eat commercial now (15 years removed from living in Maine), but they are always a disappointment. Blackberries have grown on me though.
First book took me three or so starts to finally get through. After book 2 I was hooked. If you get through those, and still hate it, it may not be for you. The world building and characters is what sold me. They can be slow at times, but that's part of what I like. They feel lived in.

Having a low effort pizza recipe is game changing. I have limited freezer space so mine is built around a tomato paste based sauce, and cheese sticks to prevent the cheese going moldy. Pretty much every Friday is pizza day.

Played and enjoyed earlier DA games. Didn't immediately jump on DA:V since reviews were mixed, but after you raved about it I bought it over Xmas and and very glad I did. I had my gripes, but for the most part I enjoyed the hell out of it. It was uplifting in a way I was not expecting.
Same. But at the same time I put basically no trust in any show runner, even Rafe. Shows chase drama, and happy endings don't make for good drama. I think I can count on one hand, with room to spare, shows that actually let us have the happy ending.
Sure. Except angreal of various strength exist , so you can just toss one in whenever and mess all that up. I love the magic systems, but relative power levels is about as much as I ever cared about.

My guess is they understand, but they are pissed that their favorites are the ones getting cut. As someone whose favorite character on any given show is the gay lady (if present), I feel like I'm winning every week, so can't really relate in this instance.
Same. People were so big on 304, and while I could appreciate it for what it was, it did not leave me as hype as even episode 303 (which was probably my least favorite of the first three).
When I first saw the shot of the dark one's prison, I remember thinking it looked like a a tangle of bodies (in abstract). Seeing the comparison to the Blight I'm now reminded of....someone..somewhere (I think a show only reactor?)..comparing the look of the Blight to twisted bodies.

Their objection to Mo and Siuan is where I tapped out. To hold up their friendship in the books as exemplary is wild to me. The same Mo and Siuan who barely spare a thought for each other when they learn the other has been stilled/dead? Please.

I have been reading these books since the late 90s, have watched/listened to hundreds, if not thousands of hours of WoT related content. I am sure I would fail almost all super fan tests. Some people are very good with the names and details, alas, that is NOT me.
