A wavelength of exactly the field's side length.
I enforce it in the middle for two lengths then let go.
Tada, a standing wave.

A field of thousands of small galaxies of various shapes and colors on the black background of space. A bright, foreground star with diffraction spikes is at lower left. Near the image center, a tiny white box outlines a region and two diagonal lines lead to a box in the upper right. Within the box is a banana-shaped blob that is blueish-red in one half and distinctly red in the other half. An arrow points to the redder portion and is labeled “JADES GS z 14 – 0”.
Most distant object known to humanity - JADES-GS-z14-0.

JWST’s camera is mostly IR so they can see through the dust clouds, like the ones you see between us and the center of our home galaxy.

The photos are real but the color gets remapped from JWST spectrum to ours
At the centre is a thin vertical cloud known as Lynds 483 (L483) that is roughly shaped like an hourglass with irregular edges. The lower lobe is slightly cut off. The top lobe is seen in full, petering out at the top.

Continuous lod, 👏
Eigenvalues of the matrix:
[[A, 1, -1],
[-1, B, 0],
[1, -1, -1]]
where A and B are independent continuous uniform random variables on (−5,4).

Colored my maze depending on the distance to the spot I'm at.
One can sort of recognize from what other spot of the maze I started the generation of the maze, since all paths seem to meet there.
I need to decentralize my mazes.

#Genuary9: ASCII.
Today I was in a hurry and still spent more time on the sketch than the previous days...plus the result is underwhelming. I guess it’s one of those days😑

@noneucldreamer.bsky.social was this inspiration? Negative time was first observed last year www.scientificamerican.com/article/evid...
Very good, what gfx api(s) are you using? There are a couple options, dm me if youd like some boilerplate
The sorting function (and equally important buffer *write* function 😅) can be done more naturally with a compute shader...
...there's a very good chance your fragment shader pipeline doesn't let you write buffers due to built-in limitations to GL2-era apis and hardware devices
Omfg yes
Amazing work 👏👏👏
