What does a Locked Toilet Door mean to you?
Like if you're in public, you got to use a bathroom and find the door is locked, what is your first assumption?

Like they're on the subreddit and the way this and the MJ missions are talked about, you would think that they nade up significant portions of the game. They don't! This one is *optional* content that breaks up the action a bit. It's over in 5 minutes!
I'm doing the Hailey mission. I'd misremembered aspects of this.
1. It's a side mission, you don't have to do it.
2. You literally do 2 QTEs, a little environmental puzzle, and then another QTE. That's the whole thing.
The way the internet bangs on about this mission is so overblown

Idk where I'm going with this, I'm just so fucking sick of people defending opinion like it's fact. It's ok if you like something and the internet says it's bad! Or if a reviewer says it's not to their taste! They aren't being "unprofessional", they're doing their fucking JOB
I'm a Sonic fan. Sonic games, until Shadow Gens, basically reviewed like dogshit. I still basically enjoyed the ones that reviewed poorly, and can even find positive things to say about the ones I don't like. I'm being subjective. Critique *is* subjective.
However, YouTubers that get all of their opinions from Reddit will try and tell you that a game is "objectivley" a 9/10, based on... Something. Their fans use that language now. This game or that game is objectivley good or bad. If you think the opposite, you're just supporting an agenda.
I've not even played either of the games mentioned so I don't have a dog in this race, but I am really passionate about video game criticism. I think it's important that we're able to critique the things we love. We can critique them *because* we love them and want to see them improve and get better
Grummz and other dipshits like him are saying that Crimson Desert is the best video game ever made. I haven't played it, so I can't comment. They're mad that IGN scored Marathon a 9 and CD a 6, saying that they're not being objective and that they're chasing an ideology or something.
I need to rant about this because I hate it.
Metacritic and review aggregate websites have completely poisoned the well of discourse surrounding video game criticism to the point where we've started chasing "objective criticism" whatever the fuck that means.

The game is done! But it's always "what do you want for DLC? Could this be a hint at a third route? When are we getting the DLC?". Shut the fuck up! You're getting what we keep asking for! Then when Ubisoft releases fucking battlepasses and endless monetisation you scratch your head and wonder why!
