In the end, what's matter is we draw for our own happiness, not for pleasing others. People slapped me cause they told me I didn't work in art industry. I did, and have several friends working in big studio. Drawing isn't fun as it used to be if you keep holding to pleasing others as the base.

True. I feel creativity is slowly dying as most ppl draw with the existing popular trope or following the hype train.

As an artist myself, I forgot the true reason I picked my pencil to draw; which is to have fun and enjoyment; not the other way around.

I'm trying to break that loop slowly and it sure feels better when you throw all the desire to be good and be perfect.

I'm replicating his favorite Idol group art style. It's hard to replicate a style you rarely do, but I do learn some new things through that process and a fun one to do. I'm glad he likes his oc illustration too 😊

Happy birthday to my friend who helped me back on standing back again facing the world. Life is hard, but there are still beautiful aspects of life and thank you for helping me seeing those.

Anyway, I'm changing my display name as my comic series title, but still under Listovite. I will still posting arts, but more than arts, a lot of other things too. I want to make something that can inspire people or learn together.

But if you keep doing for the sake of popularity or hype train, for me it will crush you slowly inside. There are a lot of supporting bluesky posts here and I really happy that I'm not the only one feeling that way.

It's not about the numbers of interaction you got, or how popular you wish to be. But the journey of producing it is what's matter.

I also work in the art industry so I understand a lot well why a lot of artist want to get lots of interaction to get commisions...

I gonna post more of my drawings even sketches here, as well as things that make me happy. All will be posted in form of my ocs pov. There will be drawings, games, art and crafts, and study progress. I also gonna remake my comic again and post it here.
