We love our pets here at North Texas Votes! πΆ
We are thrilled to announce that we have officially crossed 2,500 voters registered since our launch in early November!
While that number is impressive in itself, it comes with over 250 events attended, thousands of volunteer hours, and dozens of community partners.

That feeling when you end the week with 19 events and 201 voters registered. π±π₯

For our next Volunteer Spotlight, we want to recognize one of our longest serving volunteers, Barbara!
Not only has she helped register 100s of voters, she secured a monthly spot at the Dallas Museum of Art, helping provide election information to even more people.
We made a new friend amongst the chaos of the week, hello Noodles (he was very friendly)! π
The most exciting part was running the numbers to discover that we attended 18 events and registered 149 voters, just last week alone. ππ
Beautiful day to get registered or learn about the upcoming elections at the Parker Square Farmers Market. Stop by and say hi! @ntxvotes.bsky.social

Last weekend, our volunteer helped a woman register to vote for the first time. She told us something we hear far too often: "No one ever asked me before.β
Thatβs exactly why our work matters, and in just four months, we have already helped register more than 2,000 (2,177 to be exact) new voters!
We didn't let the rain stop us this weekend from registering 40 voters! Even more impactful was hearing stories of suppression some of these voters faced going to vote on Tuesday, and how we could get their registration updated or answer questions to ensure they are confident for the next election!
Happy Primary Election Day! π
Polls are up 7am-7pm today if you have not made your voice heard yet. If you are in Dallas or Denton County, you MUST vote at a specific location (scan the QR Code to find yours). Collin and Tarrant can vote anywhere within their respective county.

For our next volunteer post, we'd like to recognize a long-term volunteer.
When we showed up to register voters at the Princeton Mosque, Roberto spent nearly 2 hours helping shovel the ice from the sidewalks.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication Roberto! π«Άπ₯³
