Mmmm.
Another way of looking at it.
What three qualities would you want a new #NUFC manager to have?

Smoke on the water… if electric is your thing.
Everton, Forest and Leicester would concur.
So Gabriel wasn’t shown a red because he ‘did not pull his head back first and create space before driving it forward’
Funny how the same rule didn’t apply to Fabian Schär.

Only point of worth in there is getting our ‘best’ midfield back on the pitch.
Been banging the 442 drum all season and being solid is key for the remaining games, so reckon our strongest midfield is
Joelinton Bruno Tonali/Miley Ramsey
Woltemade + one up front
PGMOL Handbook > Head Butts
A head butt is always considered violent conduct and the offending player shown a straight red, unless the player committing the foul plays for one of our favoured clubs.
The Johnson connection is tenuous, the heartbeat of AC/DC is Scottish Australian.
We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, may be a better choice this season.
This debate always raises questions about the lack of ‘successful’ Newcastle bands over years - hard to name one really.
The Animals basically just did covers.
Bit shite really, players not being self motivated to compete.
To quote social media - losers mentality.
Has he got one?
Like the rest of the squad, Elanga needs a confidence boost.
Unfortunately, this late into the season that isn’t going to happen.
I don’t buy the idea the players aren’t playing for Howe.
It’s a possibility, but so is that they have had all the confidence knocked out of them.
The problem with conceding late goals (for example) is a psychological thing, not a reflection of the squads faith in the manager.
Who knows, but appointing a new manager is always a risk and we know what Howe can achieve when he has a balanced squad.
Everybody is understandably ‘angry’ about how things are going - probably better to let the dust settle on a shit season than rush to judgement.
I’m not certain any manager could have done much better without a recognised striker.
Wissa might have filled that role if he hadn’t got injured, but he did and the problems have grown from there.
We have also been unable to select a consistent back four due to injuries.
It a tough hand to play.
£320m outlay for 21 PL goals.
The strikers involved in the Isak transfer shit show haven’t had much luck.
AI - 2 goals and a broken ankle
YW - 1 goal and a knackered knee
HE- 11 goals and a ruptured Achilles
NW - 7 goals and can’t get a game
Amazing how much bad karma one person’s rotten behaviour can create.
#NUFC
Correct.
I’m minded that he was left a thankless task after AI’s disgraceful behaviour fucked up the summer.
Also that he delivered a minor miracle prior to that (was it five windows with no signing?) and can’t be fairly judged on this season.
End of the season is a psychological line in the sand, a chance to cast aside this year’s negativity.
The wheels really started coming off when he started using the much demanded plan b.
He can grow and develop (or he might not) - we will never know if he doesn’t play.
Wissa has only started four games.
Woltemade’s seven goals came in his first 21? games. Then he was sacrificed for the press.
They aren’t going to get better if they don’t play (in the right position)
Still undecided on Howe. We have played the whole season without a goal scorer - kind of thing that spreads pressure throughout the team.
What I don’t get is why he won’t give Wissa and Woltemade more game time. The former is a poacher, the latter brings some much needed guile.
#NUFC
I’d say yes, the team’s confidence is shot and that can’t be fixed until the summer.
On the other hand he is starting to do doomed manager stuff.
Just glad to have Bruno back and desperate to get another four points asap - everything else can wait til June.
Probably next Sunday, such is the weirdness of football.
Aye, people are free to do jack shit when ‘their’ club is being trashed and financially back the person responsible.
I never saw it as being militant, more standing up for the club you supposedly love.
The fans non response to the club being fucked over is why I jacked my ST - it was the only option left and whatever I thought being a football supporter was about for the previous 35 years was clearly wrong.
Or did 99% not care enough about #NUFC being ran into the ground to put any effort in.
The Spurs boycott was plugged on the local news before the game, on the radio and in the press - blaming the crap response on social media is a cop-out.
All the KFC prick does is make stuff up based on the rumour mill.
This one is an amalgamation of stories this week that BM are after Gordon + NUFC are after (Ousmane) Diomande.
You will never see anything from them that isn’t already doing them rounds.
I hate the grifting c#%t.
