I think I should make a regular, monthly call to action for indie developers to reply with their games, leave a description, and relevant links, instead of just doing it infrequently whenever I like. So why not a September #ShowCasey?
INDIE DEVS, I WANT YOUR GAMES ON MY DESK BY TOMORROW!
Oh look the thing everyone said would happen happened
just for once I’d like to post when there isn’t massive industry fuckery going on but basically I’m waiting to see how many people I know at Microsoft are out of work tomorrow and how big Phil Spencer’s golden parachute will be for causing it.
I wrote 100+ articles for AG between 2004 and 2022. My experience there got my foot in the door at Telltale, which shaped my entire career. Lately I'd been using the forums A LOT for research for a book I'm writing -- an enormous amount of history wiped out. I'm sad about this for so many reasons. 😔
This is so disgusting. AdventureGamers used to be my go-to site even before I wrote dozens of reviews and articles for them. Now they're just a slop website of garbage. Check out Adventure Game Hotspot for real news and reviews.
So uh… my new game is out. Hope y’all like it!
This is insane. Also hi, it's me again, I only post bad stuff or "HEY A GAME I MADE CAME OUT"
Today it's bad stuff.
Trans women are women.
Motherfuckers.
We are currently looking for 2D sprite artists for STAR OATH! Please have a proper portfolio/ArtStation of your work ready for our review. Please also let us know of your background in art and what types of projects you have worked on in the past!
Thank you!
Anyone need a Technical Narrative Designer with experience on the Nemesis System?
I am heartbroken. We were making something so beautiful, y'all.
I'm out of a job and I'm having a baby in ten weeks.
I'm terrified.
Monolith took me by surprise. What a storied studio to lose.
👀
... this was my first boss in the game industry.
👀
Good luck pumpkin 💓
Wow we *just* missed each other in Montreal. I was laid off at Eidos Summer 2018 and by September was already interviewing for what ended up being my current job in Finland. I left at the end of 2018.

I can't emphasize how important it is to support this project. After releasing Liyla and the Shadows of war, I have high hopes for this project. We need diverse more voices in our industry, and this is a topic that needs to be covered.
Folks, *please* take this chance to materially support Palestinian work + voices + dreams. Dreams on a Pillow could not be more necessary. I'm so moved by Rasheed's creativity, perseverance, ingenuity. This industry and this world don't deserve him, but I'm so grateful that he's here with us 💪🍉
As an Arab game developer, it's super hard for me to EVER see games made by people like me from my region.
This is a game that tells our stories, it is a game that MUST exist, sharing the experience of Palestinians through the medium we all love. Please consider donating and sharing widely!
The story about the key brought tears to my eyes.
If you watched PMG's video on Palestine last year, you'll know about @rasheedabueideh.bsky.social and his story.
He's a Palestinian game dev, living in the West Bank, and experiencing the horror of a genocide many of us can only witness through a screen halfway around the world.
I wish I could do so much more. Make it all go away. This is so small, but every story about what was lost must be preserved so what once was can never be extinguished.
If you’re like me and already on the market but looking for the right time to pull the trigger, stuff like this can do it.
I’m probably not typical but the thing that pushed me to upgrade my GBA into a GBA SP was the release of one skinned like an NES.
Getting a unique system skin with a game bundle was also what pushed me to finally get a 3DS and later a Switch.
*stares in Coffee World*
