Troubleshooting some separation of powers language for the 30th amendment (28th is the ERA; 29th is enshrining the right to vote as inherent in citizenship and public funding of elections). If we make Section 3/14A self-executing, I think that could help.

In Trump v Anderson, the decision that claimed Congress needed to recognize the Section 3 disability for it to apply, the examples cited by the court DID NOT REQUIRE a majority of either chamber of Congress. But, it did say that Congress could apply it at any time with “no limits”. Just saying.

I personally believe the route to freeing ourselves from Trump runs through at least three constitutional amendments: the adoption of the ERA (easy); a national popular vote for president (harder), and a brand new anti-corruption amendment, with publicly funded elections (near impossible).
