Anything that gets you into the rhododendron, mountain laurel and water is worth your while. Linville Gorge, Grandfather Mountain. Anything in Pisgah or the Smokies. Anything along the AT or the Blue Ridge really. It's all beautiful.

If you're willing to get out to the mountains, Grayson Highlands has a special place in my heart. Wild horses! But anything along that TN/NC/VA crest of the Appalachians will be worth your while. A piece of my soul is still there.
