new conspiracy theory: the reason the Dublin metro keeps getting delayed is because the Tuatha Dé Danann, whose realm is everything beneath the earth, aren't particularly fond of noisy trains encroaching on them, so they keep putting curses on anyone trying to do planning work

one of my favorite pieces of trans art is 'you make me sick', described in the second image. i saw this post in 2015 and it has always stayed in the back of my mind. i guess it may seem a little outlandish but i have always found it to be poignant
things i add to porridge with milk
- salt
- cinnamon
- walnuts
- whisk in an egg off the heat (no really)
you can also fry a banana in sugar and cinnamon for it, takes like 7mins
you could screen this at a festival and it would win an award if the judges didn't know what gundam or tomodachi life were
Huge congrats to Bee and to Phobosplunker!
POP OFF QUEEN!
Just out of this myself. Favourite film since I was 15. just sublime

The Pope isn’t soft on crime, he just doesn’t do his paperwork, and his captain’s always shouting at him for it. His partner used to do it before he was murdered.
Now, every day, the Pope searches obsessively for the murderer, and some day soon, he’ll find him . . . and forgive him.
Spread of a sketchbook. One the lefthand page is a drawing of Florence Welch, a white woman with long red hair. She is looking up. On the righthand page are various landscapes drawn with acrylic paint pens.
Digital illustration of Florence Welch and Aurora as the sun and the moon. Florence is on the left, a red-haired woman in an orange dress. Her hair glows like the sun. Aurora is on the right, upside down. She is a woman with white hair in a teal/blue dress. They are reaching out to each other, with the sun and the moon between their hands. The illustration has a border with stars, suns and comets.
Self-portrait of the artist screaming. They are a white person with shoulder-length brown hair. They've got one hand around their neck. The background is red and black. Around the top and bottom are white thorns curling around each other.
Digital illustration of Chappell Roan. She is a white woman with red hair in a braided ponytail. She is pictured from the thighs up. She is looking up, with her mouth open in an awed expression. She is wearing a knight's armor and has one hand on her chest, with the other hand giving the middle finger. The background is a black halo around her head, with flames at the sides of the halo. Around the halo are the lyrics "You'd have to stop the world just to stop the feeling" in cursive. It is signed JOBEEART '24.

It’s profoundly ignorant to suggest that the Pope should be fighting crime on behalf of the Catholic Church. Anyone who was remotely familiar with Roman Catholicism would know that that’s what Daredevil is for

The Irish word ‘Cásc’ (in English, Easter) derives from the Romance language line of ‘Pascha’ via Latin & Greek, and so back to Aramaic.
