They also don’t defend like the young Cs. At all.
The wealthiest 1% own 50% of stocks and the top 10% own 87%, per Federal Reserve.
The bottom 50% of Americans owns only 1%, but we hear about the stock market constantly in media (even NPR and MS NOW). Seems like we could hear more about the opportunity costs of not providing universal health care.
It takes a lot of tiny movements to build something as big as universal childcare. We’re up to the task.
In 100 days, we’ve taken meaningful steps every day to make child care more accessible, affordable, and equitable for New Yorkers. Here are just a few of the milestones we’ve reached so far.
It’s disgusting.
CBS turned their news operation into propaganda, kicked Colbert off the air for making too much trouble, and all that just to have Charles Barkley go on the air on one of their most-watched telecasts of the year and say this lmao
I want to like the Hornets because of Charles Lee and the way they play and NBA JAM and the Starter jackets but fuck Miles Bridges forever
Best win of the year for Boston.
Brown: 31/8/8, 2 steals
Tatum: 19/12/7, 3 steals, 1 block
Queta: 13/5, 2 blocks

25 assists on 38 baskets. Outstanding all-around effort for the Celtics.

They’re the ultimate Gen Z male athlete
I just checked and Saxon is 20 years old. That is a grown up man ordering milk like a Droog
And by “too young” I mean too naive.
I was too young to really understand this, but I felt it. “Why don’t they just do good shit now?” Was such a prevailing feeling at the time.
He heard MVP chants at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade this weekend. Then again at TD Garden while yanking a game away from the Suns.
Jaylen Brown feeling the love from Boston during rewarding Celtics season www.nytimes.com/athletic/712...
hmm I wonder what might happen if this got a certain amount of shares
THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT. Last game between them, Spurs shot 20 FTs, Celtics 4. Tonight so far (late Q2) it's Spurs 12, Celtics 2. And now Jaylen gets tossed -- maybe he was sick of all the uncalled fouls SA has gotten away with.
Jaylen rushed from the bench to help Tatum up off the pine with all the envy of a guy who worries whose team it is.
Very sharp that Kenny Atkinson.
National TV halftime show having an analyst say "I don't even know who this kid is" during a highlight ... especially when this kid has been a starter on the East 2nd seed ... is supposed to be good?
Starting a GoFundMe to build a 15,000 seat stadium for the Hearts.
This is amazing.

normalize and celebrate saying “I may not know enough about this topic to be able to comment, so I won’t.”
It’s “pull up the ladder behind you energy” which is the absolute fucking worst.
Rep. Laurel Libby, R-Auburn, recently used my second-place finish in the 1,600-meter run, and that of my teammate in the 800-meter run, to malign Soren Stark-Chessa, the trans-identified athlete who finished first. One of the reasons I chose to run cross-country and track is the community: Teammates cheering each other on, athletes from different schools coming together, and the fact that personal improvement is valued as much as, if not more than, the place we finish. Last Friday, I ran the fastest 1,600-meter race I have ever run in middle school or high school track and earned varsity status by my school’s standards. I am extremely proud of the effort I put into the race and the time that I achieved. The fact that someone else finished in front of me didn’t diminish the happiness I felt after finishing that race. I don’t feel like first place was taken from me. Instead, I feel like a happy day was turned ugly by a bully who is using children to make political points. We are all just kids trying to make our way through high school. Participating in sports is the highlight of high school for some kids. No one was harmed by Soren’s participation in the girls’ track meet, but we are all harmed by the hateful rhetoric of bullies, like Rep. Libby, who want to take sports away from some kids just because of who they are. Anelise Feldman Freshman, Yarmouth High School Yarmouth
this is a letter to the editor from a high school track runner who came in second to a trans girl in a race. her state house rep in maine started talking about it. so she wrote this: www.pressherald.com/2025/05/14/r...
“All online discussion is toxic now” I fixed it for you.
I’ve been refreshing the site for 2 hours and they all just popped up “sold out”. I never saw them live. NOOOOO!
It’s so easy to find things to enjoy about sports. Player development, progress, moments of greatness. The “titles or I’m miserable” crowd is just something I don’t understand. I need the Cs to distract and entertain me, not to have a parade every June.
A coworker took this from her apartment. I haven't seen a crowd this size before. Maybe the first Women's March? But it was much much warmer that day. ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!
