Loving the bickering, banter, and delightful pettiness in #kdrama Love Your Enemy. The teenage Ji Wons are total cuties, and the boy looks so much more like Hyun Bin than Ju Ji Hoon!
Teach me, sensei 😭😭😭 I have been miserable all morning recounting Nov 19, 2023 all day today
Oh Jung Se is amazing as always, though I feel it’s time for him to step away from playing neurodivergent characters. And that final scene—the jeep driving off—seems like a hint, doesn’t it? We know Jae Mi can’t drive, so it has to be him, right? Here’s to hoping!
He brings incredible depth to a flawed, complex character you’d expect to dislike, yet he makes you root for him. His laughter is infectious, and his tears are deeply moving. I’d call him my discovery of the year!
Themes of child abandonment in K-dramas are always deeply moving, and they were absolutely heart-wrenching in this one! This was my first drama featuring Woo Do Hwan, and he exceeded all expectations in the role of Chae Seong Hyeok.
Another gains freedom and breaks away from an overbearing mother. A young woman abandoned as a baby learns her true birthday. Each arc is deeply moving and makes the show feel wonderfully complete.
filled with unexpected moments, from hilarious messes to heartfelt confessions.
The story takes viewers on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery, where each character finds something they’ve been missing. One character finds his "real" father.
"Why do those who have suffered all their lives seem to suffer even more?" - Chae Seong Hyeok in #kdrama #MrPlankton is hands down the best "traumedy" I’ve seen! It masterfully blends drama, laughter, tears, and just the right touch of chaos—
'96 WC Semis was my first heartbreak ever (it was the first WC I followed too) 😭 I also fell at school while playing kho kho earlier that day so ended up nursing two wounds.
(though the terminal illness and her previous relationship added nothing), and by the end, she found her calling. The 2nd leads had better story arcs, so it’s no surprise people preferred their storyline. I had high hopes for this one, but alas!
#kdrama Love Next Door's korean title is Umchinah Adeul, but it didn’t reveal much about Choi Seung Hyo beyond his profession, passion, and puppy love. There was no real character development for him. At least in Bae Seok Ryu's case, she experienced career burnout
I have started counting down to Ju Ji Hoon’s return to romcom land early next year. That kdrama better deliver because those intense, love-filled eyes can’t go to waste!
When the guy steps in, effortlessly holding the girl's hand as she’s crushing a scalding cup of coffee, saving her from burns. Swoon-worthy.
not for the plot twists, the writing, or even the visual effects, but for the sheer brilliance of the lead actors.
Sure, I love my smile-filled, forehead-kissing, back-hugging, lovey-dovey leads. But what really gets me?
Finished Kdrama Blood Free starring Ju Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo in just two days. I’m not usually into sci-fi thrillers (unless there’s some fast-paced action), and I’ll admit, the pilot had me feeling a bit bored. But wow, am I glad I stuck it out—
Reflecting the themes of her previous work, Kim Hye Young once again explores abandonment and childhood trauma in her latest kdrama, No Gain No Love. Both the writing and acting have been exceptional so far.
And the kdrama is:
Good guess! It's not from *Doona,* but from an older drama. Picture someone discovering K-dramas or movies for the first time and binge-watching. That's when the other lead makes this comment.
@mirambles.bsky.social ohai chinguya. Nice to meet here 🙌
Guess the #kdrama

Found kdrama serendipity's embrace cute; Chae Jeong Hyeop even cuter.
Meri jaan 💜💜💜
