I picked up the M2s in the summer, used them on a couple of jobs so far. Super convenient, for sure, though still experimenting to get the sound quality as clean as I’d like - but yes, to @marcsettle.bsky.social’s point, imho they’re plenty good enough for many applications.

Good news is that the site appears to have been reported/taken down already so there’s not a lot more to poke around at here at the moment.
Domain registered yesterday with Hostinger, looks to be trying to suggest a dot gov dot uk site.
Oooh, this is a new one:
Panoramic landscape in HDR of the barren Isle of Lewis landscape at sunrise.
It’s a charming island.
The bijou and compact An Lanntair theatre took me there. Oh yes it did.
We might even have stayed in the same room.
Holy moly. I know the exact hotel you’re staying in.
So am I… 📍 We’re working on Will.

Well, at least they had the good grace to confirm their intent (👍🏻) before destroying the message. Reported. I’ve received a few of these this week across different networks - new gang active? #scamalert
Still have this on my bookshelf, Wytse. A signed copy, no less! (cc @bjoernsta.de)
While Jimmy Greaves, Gordon Banks.
View from the window seat of an airplane. It is night. There is a large white wing and some dazzling lights from the runway in the background.
Home time. Not everyone likes a window-seat, but there’s nowhere else I’d rather sit on a clear night.
He looks pretty perky, all things considered. Welcome to you both.
Another strong verb which had a very similar history was the verb 'to snow.' Believe it or not, at one time, the past tense of snow was snew in many parts of the British Isles. So you might say, "It snew yesterday." Eventually, snew was replaced with snowed, but snew lingered on in some dialects of northern England until the past couple of centuries.
My favourite (linguistic) fact about snow: we used to say “it snew” when using the verb in the past tense.
Much like “grow/grew”, throw/threw” & “know/knew”, it used to be snow/snew.
I bet you never knowed that.

Update: we’ve had a word. Confidence is medium-to-high-ish. 🍀
When in Frankfurt:
Will’s very busy not editing the episode we recorded before the summer. It’s genuinely a pleasant surprise to us all when a new ep actually appears 🫠 We’ll have a word.
But does he have enough sodium?
Never Blank Settle.
I did some detective work to hunt down what the image was that I was taking of you. Found it:
@marcsettle.bsky.social Reunited at last.
Many happy memories at CW WGC - three seasons, I think - and pleased to see panto is still alive and well there. Break a leg.

Appreciated TweetDeck back in the day? Here’s a version for BlueSky ⬇️
I’ve been on varifocals for a couple of years now. Took time to for me to adjust, but was good within a couple of weeks. My wife then tried them but they just didn’t work for her - she described it as a huge relief when she went back to standards.
best use of AI yet? UK mobile operator O2 has created a human-like AI “Granny” to answer calls in real time from fraudsters, wasting as much of their time as possible 😅 news.virginmediao2.co.uk/o2-unveils-d...
If this is the @bsky.app vibe then I’m sticking.
Yes, iOS photo backup supported by multiple Apps (Google, Dropbox etc - I backup mine to a NAS).
If I read you right, Kate, Apple’s own services don’t appear to offer store/backup to other clouds, so iPhone/iPad backups, iMessage, Apple Health (somehow almost 300MB in my case), Notes and Voice Memos etc. Fair enough if they’re Apple’s own?
