Our @horizoneu.bsky.social team is working on solutions to implant-associated infections from a new perspective. 🦠✨
We are developing bio-hydrogels that, when applied on infections, transform bacteria into a source for producing beneficial proteins.

As our @horizoneu.bsky.social team readies our 3D bioprinter prototype for its first microgravity flight campaign, we can’t wait for our setup to join a future #ISS expedition! Crew will test our magneto-acoustic levitation system on building better cardiac models for space and earth health. 🧲 🔊
Expedition 73 at the International Space Station started doing cardiac research this week! 💓 Nasa flight engineers E. Michael Fincke and @jonnykimusa.bsky.social are using ultrasound devices to “identify signs of space-caused plaque buildup or accelerated aging-like symptoms in the arteries.”
Our #HorizonEU project is working on magneto-acoustic 3D bioprinting technologies to support human health on long-duration space missions — and to bring benefits back to healthcare on Earth. 🇪🇺
We will be in Bordeaux @dlr-en.bsky.social for a parabolic flight campaign organised by our partners at @uni-magdeburg.de through Novespace. 🤝
From 20–31 October, we will test our 3D bioprinter prototype in a #ZeroGravity flights campaign! 🛫🛬 It will be the first time our prototype will leave the lab to operate in flight — a huge step toward validating our technology for the International Space Station.
