Heyo Bluesky. I have absolutely no idea how to start one of these off, mainly cause a bunch of friends convinced me to start putting my art out there. I usually work traditionally, but I've been practicing with digital lately. Here's to hoping I can make something of this here.

While Soan, in his old age, warmed up to the Gomelan royalty, Hilla slowly and silently begins to turn away from it, seeing them as incompetent at best, and corrupt at worst. She also deeply distrusts the Hare.
So heartbroken at the fact that the monastery had been attacked despite their pacifism, she joined the knighthood, and eventually joined the Band. Hilla soon became disillusioned with the royal cause against Merlice however.
Soan and Hilla’s lives were ripped away from the, and they fled back to the city of Gomela. Soan tried to make the best out of a bad situation, but Hilla was changed.
Their measured and disciplined lifestyle rubbed off on the precocious young Hilla. When she was fifteen, a group of raiders called the Shrikemen attacked the monastery, led by the sublimated wizard Radugan.
Her father’s name was Soan (like ‘sewn’), and he moved out into the woods due to his discontent with city life. He was good friends with the monks, who were stewards of the river.
This is both a virtue and a fault, making her loyal yet tunnel visioned. Hilla is precise and independent. She is not good in crowds, and prefers her own company.
During her childhood, Hilaire lived alone with her father near a remote monastery.
A quiet, shy and analytical woman. She is soft spoken and demure, but she is a keen fighter with strong principles. She is stubborn, observant and ideologically disciplined, Hilla refuses to conform to anything that goes against her values, particularly not for the sake of personal gain.
