Ellie is a little disappointed that it isn’t a weapon but Ellie does love cars and she is excited to see the car too. Ellie doesn’t hesitate and cuddles into Kirby.

“Can we watch the movie now? It will make me really happy if we can both go and watch the movie together now Kirby. Can we please?”

“It’s okay if you want to go to bed mom. I can look after Cascina and put her to bed for you. I don’t mind because I have actually had a lot of fun hanging out with Cascina.”

Ellie is still holding her mom because she likes the comfort but Ellie also knows that Persephone needs this comfort too.

“You’re right, it isn’t a good idea and I was dumb even suggesting it.” Ellie then picks up the television remote for the television that Abby and Ellie have in their bedroom.

“We should watch more movies instead. Movies are fun and we can even each choice one movie each back and forth babe.”

Ellie immediately tells Matt that she would like a pizza from the restaurant after being encouraged by Jessica to do so and then Ellie returns to watching the movie on the television.

“Can we also get drinks from the restaurant? I would like a banana milkshake because they are my favourite.”

Ellie thinks about her choices for a moment and then Ellie nods her head in agreement with what her Aunt Carol says because she trusts that her Aunt Carol will keep her secure and safe.

“I would like a piggy back Aunt Carol and I trust in you that you will not let me fall during the process.”

“Okay Aunt Kate I’ll stay beside you the whole time.” Ellie puts one of her hands on the trolley to prove it whilst her and her Aunt Kate are walking around the store.

“Aunt Kate. Can I please get a candy bar I can eat when we get home?” Ellie is still holding onto the trolley bar as promised.

Ellie smiles from Cruella’s reassurance and then gives Horace and Jasper each a drawing that is a little older than the rest and then Ellie cuddles into Cruella.

“Can I go watch a movie now please?” Ellie asks Cruella and then looks at Cruella whilst waiting for Cruella’s response patiently.

“What is that? Is it a weapon? I think that they will trade for anything for more weapons.” Ellie is smiling at Kirby but is also excited to see this Lightning McQueen weapon.

“Can I see the weapon before anyone else gets to see Kirby? It sounds cool and I’d love to see it before anyone else.”

“I won’t forget that baby, I promise. I’m sorry for being so emotional.” Ellie holds Abby for a little longer but also has her eyes closed and is enjoying Abby’s warmth.

“I was thinking baby. Maybe we can make another little us? It has been a while and Jerry needs a best friend for life, baby.”

“Oh, that really sucks. Are you sure that the chemicals didn’t melt your eyeballs? I heard that chemicals can do that.” Ellie then gasps in excitement and starts watching Matt’s television.

“Do you have any food in your house? I am hungry and would like food. Do you have pizza? I love pizza.”

Ellie’s eyes widen in excitement when Carol mentions GTA and Ellie is reaching up to Carol because she wants to be carried and knows that Carol is strong enough to carry her

“Can you please carry me Aunt Carol? I don’t want to walk right now but I still want to go with you wherever we are going.”

Ellie is looking up at her Aunt Kate and nods her head because Ellie thinks that them all staying with her Aunt Kate for a while is a really great idea, especially because Ellie has never seen her mom relax.

“I think that is a really good idea Aunt Kate. Can we please do it soon Aunt Kate?”

Ellie runs to Cruella and holds Cruella close because she isn’t sure what to make of Horace and Jasper looking at her drawings but especially to Horace being dramatic.

“Cruella? Does he not like my drawings?” Ellie says whilst she is looking up at Cruella and waits for an answer patiently.

“We have those in Jackson. I am sure that they will be happy to trade if you can bring us things from your home city because there is a lot of things that are impossible to get because everyone is dead or undead.”

Ellie is now smiling at Kirby “Do you think that you can possibly do that Kirby?”

Ellie doesn’t hesitate and cuddles into Persephone and Ellie is now looking up at her mom with concern and Ellie also gives her mom a tissue.

“You have been crying mom. I don’t think that you should worry about doing any kind of cleaning up right now. Are you going to be okay? I’m worried mom.”

“If you are sure babe, because your happiness is equally important and I wouldn’t want you to feel like you are trapped in a situation that you can’t get out off.”

Ellie is still cuddled into Abby but does smile when Abby presses a kiss on her forehead “You know that I love you very much, right?”

“That’s so cool! So do you still have eyes in your socket or are your eye sockets empty?” Ellie is already reaching up towards Matt’s glasses so that she can see behind them.

“How did it happen? Were you born blind? My mum said it is possible and my mum is a doctor so she would definitely know.”

Ellie can’t believe her ears and her eyes even widen with surprise because she can’t believe that her Aunt Carol is already getting her such an expensive gift.

“Yes please Aunt Carol, that sounds fun. We can even find more games that we can play together if you would like to play with me.”

Ellie cuddles her Aunt Kate in return and holds her Aunt Kate for as long as the red light will allow them to hold each other and then Ellie smiles up at her Aunt Kate.

“I think that is the perfect idea Aunt Kate because both Cascina and I got worried but mom wouldn’t let us see her after that.”

Ellie smiles again and then brings Jasper and Horace to her drawings as she really wants them both to see them now. Ellie even helps both Jasper and Horace sit down.

“You both should admire my drawings. I made them to help Cruella and we both think that the drawings are really impressive.”

“It wouldn’t do anything against Bloaters, they require heavier weapons like flame throwers, maybe shotguns could work too, though probably not because you never want to be in a bloaters grip.”

Ellie then smiles at Kirby before continuing “They can easily rip off your head if you aren’t careful.”

Ellie reads until the book is finished knowing continuing to read until Cascina is completely asleep will be helpful for Cascina. Ellie quietly closes the book after finishing the final sentence.

“Goodnight Cascina, I love you.” Ellie then quietly walks out the room and quietly closes the door.

“Of course we can read Cinderella.” Ellie smiles and picks up Cascina when she returns to the bed and then Ellie helps Cascina on the bed and tucks Cascina back in.

“Once upon a time…” Ellie then continues reading the entire books for Cascina and occasionally even does some voices for Cascina.

Ellie then smiles at Abby and then Ellie places a gentle kiss on Abby’s lips before gently caressing Abby’s face and looking into Abby’s eyes.

“Of course I am happy to move back home with my mom, dad, sister and brother but what about you baby? Would you be happy to move back to there?”

“Ohh, I have never seen a blind person before. What is it like being blind? Do you smell more than someone who has all their senses. Oh! If I farted right now would it hurt your nose more?”

Ellie is now waiting for Matt’s response but is also smiling whilst being patient for his response.

“I’m sure Aunt Carol, there is no internet in my world because of the apocalypse so I don’t get to play online games like this.”

Ellie is happy that her Aunt Carol awarded her for her efforts then Ellie cuddles into her Aunt Carol whilst smiling happily “Can we play on the game together soon?”

“Well he did help me move into the garage and then mom got really sad though I’m not entirely sure why because she didn’t really want to tell me.”

Ellie is looking at her Aunt Kate “You should talk to mom Aunt Kate, I’m sure she’ll be happy to tell you what really is going on with her Aunt Kate.”

Ellie ecstatically waves at Jasper and Horace whilst doing a goofy smile and then Ellie immediately organises her drawings after so that Jasper and Horace can see them all.

“Hello Jasper and Horace. Has anyone ever told you that you both have a funny accent. Why do you both talk like that?”

Ellie is thinking for a few seconds before nods her head in response to Kirby’s question and then Ellie smiles at Kirby before nodding her head.

“Actually yes, I think that your weapon will work perfectly maybe not on the bigger infected but definitely on the smaller infected for sure.”

Ellie and Cascina are peacefully waiting for Persephone’s return the entire time but after an hour passes Ellie cleans up after dinner and then carries Cascina upstairs so that she can give Cascina her evening bath.

“Would you like a bedtime story or are you too old for them now Cascina?”
