In person, you can see that the top coat pulled towards the edges. My theory is that I was using a PSI a bit too high for my thinning ratio, causing the top coat to hit the surface and disperse towards the edges.

Further testing will be required.

Very nice articulation, though I wish the head/neck were more flexible.

Also, though it's not visible in the pictures, I messed up the top coat on this one. Or rather, I'm using new top coat (Gaia Notes Ex- Flat Clear), and I'm still getting used to it.

Plamo Loving Alien's 1/100 Amuro Use Jieda

Or Jeda (or Jeddah). A fun build that made me miss Bandai's clever engineering. Still great value for something with menacing shelf-presence.

Thanks! The pictures reveal some carelessness on my part though. There's some pretty egregious decal solution residue on the shield that I missed on my clean up check.

Not really pressed about it though, as this was meant to be a chill build.

Decals are pretty much whatever I thought fit, rather than being lore-accurate.

A quick, palate cleansing build after an effort build earlier this month (which I'll post in a bit).

There's something very comforting about this iteration of HGs. I barely needed the manual for this one.

The kanji on the shield are hand-painted. The first picture is the best attempt at her character art pose.

Her S.H.I.R.A.O.K.I. Full Armor Unit uses parts from the Powereder Powe Arms and Valuable Pod Option sets, and MS Builder Propellant Tanks.

Ms Nya is 3d printed.

WfM kits never miss (except for the c-clips on the VRR thrusters). I'm glad to finally have a Calibarn on my shelf.

The MFU is from Anubis Design Studio, and I love how it bulks up the shelf presence.

Articulation is actually pretty good, but the backpack mostly restricts her head, meaning the pose in pic 1 is about the best she can manage without it looking a bit strange.

A few days ago I realized just how cluttered my workspace has become. Most things needed something else moved to be accessed.

I don't have a lot of space to spread out, but I do have space to go up. So a 4-tier wire shelf later, and I feel like I've accomplished my goal of improving efficiency.

Some action poses. If I'm being honest, the GQx kits have all had a strange dichotomy of both limited articulation in some parts, but crazy poseable in other ways. I'm usually pretty conservative with my posing though, as more extreme camera angles usually breaks the limits of my photo set up.
