A capture of a wip of a fanfiction with this: Mingi didn't know what to do with his hands, and he was so nervous he almost knocked the glass of the iced americano over as he moved to grab the straw if it wasn't for Jongho's incredibly fast reflexes. "Sorry!" Mingi exclaimed, feeling completely mortified, his face turning red out of embarrassment. Jongho was so endeared he didn't know what to do. He wanted to do many things, like kiss Mingi, for example, or telling him that there was nothing he had to worry about or to be so nervous about, or saying something stupid as if he had knocked fifty iced americanos he would have repurchased every single one of them. "No worries, hyung. Crisis averted." MIngi smiled and nodded, and then he just went silent, twirling the straw of his coffee, the clinking noises of the ice against the glass the only sound around them. "I'm sorry I didn't… reply to you." Mingi finally blurted out, he really wanted to say that out loud, he wanted to express how thankful he was for Jongho not to give up, no matter how terrified he was feeling. "I got… I got overwhelmed." Jongho sighed, as if he had been holding a tension he wasn't aware of. "I am glad you gave me the chance, hyung. I promise I will make it worth it." He grinned, his nose scrunching for a slight second and Mingi's heart made somersaults inside of his chest again. Why did someone like Jongho want to go on a date with him. He couldn't make sense out of it.
