Richard Tice’s firm broke law by failing to pay £91,000 taxes The deputy leader of Reform UK owns a property investment company that did not pay tax on dividends before sending profits to a trust registered in Jersey

And now we know Reform UK’s Deputy Leader, Richard Tice, failed to pay £91k in taxes from his property business before routing his profits offshore.

This comes off the back of previous reporting on how he paid almost no corporation tax between 2018-21 despite his company making millions of pounds.

If you are in any way interested in Reform and their dodgy funders, read this thread by an MP who knows what he's talking about 👇

The fugitive who bought seven London flats in one day for £11.5m Despite being a wanted man, Su Jiangbo, a Chinese citizen accused of running illegal casinos, has been able to spend at least £81 million on property in the capital

🧵Let me get this straight

A Chinese national, with a St Kitts and St Nevis passport, who is also a Cambodian citizen, wanted by the Chinese authorities, used 12 UK companies of which he is the sole shareholder and beneficiary to buy 85 luxury flats in London worth £81m and no red flags were raised.

Keir Starmer set to ban crypto donations in blow to Nigel Farage Independent review to set out steps to protect British democracy from foreign interference after Reform UK became the first party to accept bitcoin donations

Good. This isn’t about one party or one individual. It’s about safeguarding our democracy from those who would wish to harm it.

There’s a lot more to do though, including around spending limits, company donations, risk assessment requirements, donation caps - the list goes on.

Take it from me as a former financial crime compliance officer, you don’t act in this way unless you’ve got something to hide.

We urgently need to improve the safeguards in our politics from foreign interference and manipulation 👇🏻

Not heard much of him before this and now become a favourite.

Green supporters pretending not to understand why I am annoyed about their misuse of my words and image on their leaflets will now be blocked without warning. I’ve explained it several times at length. Life is too short for this nonsense.

Tax systems are used broadly for two reasons, raise revenue and change behaviour.

Surely people thinking it is acceptable to make quick and easy money off generating hate is where we need a radical behaviour change.

A terribly front loaded album though. First 4 tracks 10/10 then the rest is 7/10.

UPDATE - I have now received a reply from the Greens apologising for the oversight in using my image and quote without consulting me and giving assurance it won't happen again. That's good enough for me, so I won't be taking any further action beyond writing it all up for my Substack

Just a quick note to @greenparty.org.uk and @greenpartyhan.bsky.social - I was not consulted on being quoted on your leaflets and I have not endorsed your campaign (or any campaign in this seat). I think this note, like the bar chart next to it, is misleading and out of context.

Look who's not turned up to PMQs today, opting for a media appearance instead.

Someone should tell Mr Farage he isn't a media personality, he's elected to represent the people of Clacton IN the House of Commons.

If his previous register of interests are anything to go by it won't be unpaid.

Ex-MPs working for lobbyists use privileged access to parliament A number of former politicians who are now paid to help influence policymakers have visited the parliamentary estate, but deny doing so for lobbying

Former MPs who then go on to work for lobbying firms should be banned from holding a parliamentary pass.

I don't care whether they want a haircut or a "cuppa with old colleagues."

It's not as if I have a pass from any of my old workplaces still.

@spotlightcorruption.org right to call this out.
