They viewed screenshots, called parents/husbands/friends/colleagues. They viewed TV footage and interviews, & more. Two things worth pointing out:

Trump sent JD Vance to Hungary to help Viktor Orban, their authoritarian leader, get re-elected. Putin also sent representatives to help Orban get re-elected. Trump is not even trying to hide that he is a Putin puppet now.
