I love seeing Pentiment get love, it's a game that I *liked* immediately after finishing it, but the more I've thought back on it, the more I've realized what a special game it is. I even learned how to make yarn with a drop spindle because of it

tbh a good chunk of why I follow you is because I do see Spock differently, but that’s the fun of it! It’s fascinating seeing a Spock perspective so different than I’m used to. I’m like, oh, oh wow, I hadn’t considered that before!

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga has a hybrid system that I'm rather fond of where you gain points to certain stats automatically, but then you choose a stat to get a nudge, and a wheel will spin that chooses how much the nudge is. I think they weight the nudge's size based on how high the stat is

Of these choices, I think choosing can be really interesting when I feel able to make an informed decision, which isn't always the case. And if I don't feel like I'm able to really make a reasonable decision, then I probably prefer everything going up by a percentage I think.

I think Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow are great entry points for Metroidvania Castlevanias. My favorite is Order of Ecclesia which is a bit more of a hybrid of classic and metroidvania style Castlevania but Shanoa fucking rules and it's got this fun darkness to it.

The GameCube was my favorite layout for playing Super Metroid! There's a jump, shoot, and run button, and times where I'd want to do any combination of those three at the same time. In the diamond layout, there's always a combo that is awkward to pull off.
