Walking home today, waiting to cross the road, a big SUV was speeding, only noticing her at the last moment and screeching to a halt before giving her grief.
She crossed deliberately slowly, shaking her head, giving the driver a thumbs down and a disappointed face. I adore her.

Yep. I love helping people out with their stuff, usually because it's something in my wheelhouse that's not in theirs, and I like the person and want them to do well. I like feeling needed I guess, plus, it keeps me away from my list of neglected projects that just glares at me as I glare back.

Reform recently got in trouble for it. Apparently, it was a genuine letter that they asked a 'concerned pensioner' to write, then they typeset it in a handwritten font and sent it to everyone, failing to mention anywhere that it was an official campaign leaflet.
