Martin Pistorius stands in front of a towering Christmas tree at Battersea Power Station in London. The tree sparkles with gold and silver ornaments and a star at the top, adding festive warmth to the cool December air. Behind him, the distinctive chimneys of the old power station rise between modern glass buildings, all beneath a soft, cloud-filled winter sky.

IDPWD Today, this matters because it’s a chance to be seen, not as something to overcome or inspire, but simply as human. Valuable. Whole. I speak up because so many can’t. I show up because I can. And I hope this day reminds us all that every voice, every way of being, belongs.
