Polychorus — Generative Chaos, Accidental Beauty Automated actors paint on a shared canvas every 60 seconds. Wave painters, constellation weavers, particle flows — all collaborating to create unique digital art.

This is a fun companion alongside the main hackathon projects, and I'm genuinely curious to see what people create with it.

Get a sneak peek here: 👉 polychorus.art 👈

More details and instructions on how to get involved coming soon, so stay tuned! 👀

Here's what makes it interesting: the gallery is public. Participants can write and deploy their own painting actors, but anyone can watch the art take shape in real-time and vote on their favorites. AI reviews and rates each piece, the community votes, and the best works rise to the top.

Small programs called "actors" take turns painting on a shared canvas. Every 60 seconds, a new ensemble is selected, they paint together, and the result gets captured. No single actor controls the picture. What emerges is something none of them planned.

The project is called #Polychorus (after the ancient Greek tragedy meaning of "chorus": a group of performers who comment together on the main action).

It will bring an interactive artistic element to the hackathon that will explore new boundaries for this format.

We're launching a side-quest at this year's #Cloudfest #Hackathon - an interactive art installation! 🎨

The organizer Carole Olinger wondered if we could integrate something more artistic into the hackathon - here's what I came up with... 🧵

Sometimes, when my wife Carole and I take a selfie, we inadvertently trigger the camera's flash and that reveals our secret true selfs... 🫣
So, yes, it is true... Carole is a fairy and my name Alain is just a weak attempt at hiding that I'm an Alien!
Don't tell anyone! 🙊

Hi #WCAsia2025 friends,

I am always eager to improve and to learn what works and what doesn't, so I want to ask you all a favor. If you have attended my talk live during the event or have watched the live stream, I would love to get feedback.

I'll be on stage at #WCAsia2025 in less than an hour talking about the rapid paradigm shift #AI is bringing to human-machine interactions and how we produce and consume digital information.
Come join me in Meeting Room 11 (Dagohoy) and find out how to manage this transition! 👋

After the Browser: AI Assistants as the New Gateway to Digital Services | WordCamp Asia 2025 We’re witnessing a fundamental shift in how humans interact with digital content. For decades, browsers have served as our gateway to the web, translating human intent into clicks, searches, …

What if browsers stop being our default "user agents" to engage with the digital world and instead we rely on individualized #AI agents to become our primary interface to digital services and content? 🤯

👉 Join me in Manila at #WCAsia to explore and discuss!

Light switch with a built-in LCD panel showing a boot sequence.

I'm sure it's a very common problem when you cannot switch on the lights in your home office because your light switch crashed due to a faulty SSD on your automation controller... right? Right?

I got the fly more combo with the built-in screen controller, the extra batteries, etc...

The Flip itself is 249g. But then, it depends on what accessories you pack.

I'd definitely recommend the Flip, it solves for more use cases than the Neo.

It's basically usable as a camera assistant without any controller or prior setup, like tracking you in a shot or following you around.

This is the new DJI Flip. Main reasons for me to get this one (and your priorities might vary):
- fully autonomous with omnidirectional collision detection
- typical scenarios can be filmed without any controller at all (button on the drone to set up and start)
- usable with phone app when close

There is an alternative version of the #boardgame called "Dorfromantik Sakura". It's not an extension, but a replacement.

The base mechanics are the same, so you can start right away. However, it is a little bit more difficult and grows into more complex mechanics through its campaign. 👍

Add discoverable JSON Schema for config files (e.g. `wp-cli.yml`) · Issue #5718 · wp-cli/wp-cli Feature Request Is your feature request directly related to a specific, existing command? No – this applies to configuration files for WP-CLI as described in https://make.wordpress.org/cli/handbook...

No, can't remember us having attempted to implement that. We do have an open issue for it, though: github.com/wp-cli/wp-cl...

We initially didn't know about the video game. They did a fantastic job with the conversion.

Lazy #boardgame afternoon with "Dorfromantik" ♟️🎲🧩
This time we finally got the last achievement (a region with 3 flags worth 40 points or more), so now we've unlocked all the game mechanics. 🎉

LibSQL: SQLite for Modern Applications Learn about LibSQL, the Open Contribution fork of SQLite that was built by the team behind Turso.

Now, how about creating distributed islands of knowledge & context in turso.tech/libsql and allow for granular connection to one or more LLMs via the MCP protocol?
Could run fully locally with cached SQLite DBs and remote backups of context.
Sounds like the kind of project I want to build a POC for!
