History does not repeat but it often rhymes. March 4th 1918 a soldier on a military base in Kansas got sick with what we now call the flu. Within days 522 other soldiers got sick with this flu. The flu pandemic became so bad that we still have it today, every year, We call it flu season.
Did we honestly think it would be an Oscar contender? It’s a family member playing the titular role…not a trained actor…and nobody in the family can act (sorry Janet, I love you). We’ll all watch for the beautiful gowns and the soundtrack of our childhood…and that’s ok.
